Análisis
El gran problema de los GPS para perros es la letra pequeña: casi todos necesitan una tarjeta SIM con cuota mensual, y en 3 años el coste de la suscripción supera con creces el del aparato. El PitPat elimina eso: incluye SIM gratuita de por vida y no cobra ninguna cuota por localizar al perro, las veces que haga falta. Rastrea por satélite, así que funciona en el monte igual que en la ciudad, con alcance ilimitado, y es 100% impermeable con recarga inalámbrica.
De propina lleva un monitor de actividad: pasos, ejercicio, descanso, objetivos y recomendaciones de alimentación, como una pulsera de fitness para el perro. A 199 EUR es de los más caros de comprar, pero si lo comparas con años de suscripción de otras marcas, sale a cuenta. Tiene aún pocas valoraciones en España (28), aunque muy buenas (4,6).

Lovely tracker , it's easy to install and fix into your digs collar. It's free it's bright which can also help to find doggie when is darker outside. A bit pricey testing this for 2 weeks now a And seems fine for me it's just that Battery is not lasting very long so you have tk remember to charge it

Really impressed with the PitPat GPS tracker. It’s small and lightweight so our dog doesn’t seem bothered by wearing it, and the GPS tracking gives us much more peace of mind when he’s out and about. The app is easy to use and the location updates have been reliable so far. Definitely worth having if you want that extra bit of reassurance.

This tracker would be suitable for any sized dog; we ordered it for our dachshund and it’s not too big as we thought it might be. It comes with a charging pad/cable but honestly, the battery is very good and we haven’t needed to charge it since first getting it. You have to download the PitPat app for this to work and you need to register for an account that you link the GPS tracker to. This is all very easy to do and took no more than a couple of minutes. Once setup, the app is really easy to use and allows you to track walks, the dog’s location, and even food/weight (with some manual input).

Our young dog has been slow to develop a pack identity which meant that letting her run off lead was a risky business as she didn't keep checking where we were and wouldn't reliably come when called. This PItPat GPS Dog Tracker looked like it might be the answer and with no monthly fees it appealed to our purse better than most of the others. You do need a mobile phone and the PitPat app but it isn't too tricky to set up and you don't have to have all the available options to get the tracking element working.
